This level of service is reserved for those clients who require little or no assistance. Medical livery service is curb-to-curb or door-to-door, meaning the driver can assist the client to and from the vehicle and to and from the door of the pickup or drop-off facility. These transports are completed in standard mini-vans or sedans.

Wheelchair transports are completed in a licensed MAV vehicle equipped with a wheelchair lift. All wheelchair transports are completed by a certified Mobility Assistance Vehicle Operator (MAVO).

This level of service is usually for clients who are bed-confined and cannot be transported safely sitting in a wheelchair. All patients being transported at the BLS level of service are cared for by an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at all times.

Our Specialty Care Transportation (SCT) is designed for patients who not only require stretcher transport in an ambulance but also skilled nursing care, IV medication administration, cardiac monitoring, ventilator management and other advanced care by a certified nurse. Our nurses are trained to handle critically ill patients of all ages and the emergencies that might arise from those transports. SCT trucks are staffed with one or two trained EMTs and one SCT-trained registered nurse.
