Who We Are
TriCare Medical Transportation was founded in 2010 in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. What started as a small operation with just a few vehicles and staff quickly expanded to meet the growing demand for dependable transportation across South Jersey. After outgrowing our original location, TriCare established its headquarters in Pleasantville, with additional satellite offices in Vineland and Cherry Hill.
TriCare’s commitment to the community was solidified during Hurricane Sandy in 2012, when our team was called upon to evacuate nursing homes throughout the region. Our crews worked around the clock to ensure every patient was transported to safety and returned home once the storm passed. The dedication shown during this crisis, combined with our daily focus on high-quality service, laid the foundation for the growth that followed.
Today, TriCare operates as one of South Jersey’s leading providers of medical transportation and 9-1-1 response services. We are a 24/7 operation with over 350 employees, 125 vehicles and three fully staffed locations. In addition to serving hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes and insurance partners, we also support private families who need safe and reliable transportation for appointments or special events.

We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, and also offer private-pay options. With competitive rates and dependable service, we make high-quality transportation accessible to as many patients and families as possible.
Our Fleet
TriCare’s fleet is designed to meet the full spectrum of medical transportation needs across South Jersey. We operate Specialty Care Transport (SCT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances, Mobility Assistance Vehicle (MAV) wheelchair vans and medical livery vehicles, each equipped to provide safe, comfortable and reliable transport. All vehicles are late-model, meticulously cleaned and routinely inspected to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance.
Every TriCare vehicle is clearly marked, and our drivers and clinical team members are always in uniform, so patients and their families can feel confident knowing they are in the care of trained, professional staff from the moment we arrive until they reach their destination.
